It was just my friend and I and neither of us speak Spanish. As we traveled the 40 minute distance, he pointed out landmarks and gave us a brief education of the city. David was so amazing that we booked a 5 hour city tour with him a few days later. The tour included him showing us important landmarks, visiting Downtown where he waited while we shopped, a walk down the Boardwalk where David kindly, but sternly redirected vendors away, stopping to take our picture (great Instagram-worthy quality), and ending with lunch at El Dorado. 20/20.   Wonderful experience with Vallarta Transportation Services! - I had a wonderful experience with Vallarta Transportation Services. Communication with Tomas was excellent, and I was able to book a private transfer to/from my resort in Punta Mita significantly... read more below the price offered by the resort. I had the good fortune to have Miguel on my trip to Punta Mita, and the ride was quite comfortable. Tomas had estimated that it could take me an hour to get outside from the time my plane landed. My flight, however, arrived 30 minutes early and I had not checked any bags, so I was outside far earlier than that. Despite my earlier than anticipated exit from the airport, Miguel was there waiting for me, immediately outside the exit door. It took me less than 5 seconds to find him, and there were people everywhere. We headed to the car where he handed me some cold water to welcome me to the wonderful Mexico heat. On our journey, he provided me with some good recommendations of places to eat during my stay, which I greatly appreciated. I am planning to try the ceviche places he pointed out in La Cruz when I return.

On the return trip, I had David as my driver, and he arrived a bit early (which I love, as I am always stressed out about missing my flight). His early arrival turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because after we left, my phone chimed to inform me I’d left my AirPods behind. David was very kind about the unplanned detour and returned me to the resort. We easily made it to PVR with time to spare. On the ride to the airport, he taught me a lot about Mexico, and our chat was fascinating. He also had excellent suggestions on places to explore when I return. David has been working 20+ years in the tourism industry, and it really shows. His knowledge of the Puerto Vallarta area and of Mexico in general was incredibly broad, and he really made me want to return soon. He was a fountain of knowledge and great information, and as a bonus, there was cold water and a Corona for me to enjoy during the trip. We had a great conversation during the trip.

I highly, highly recommend Vallarta Transportation Services if you want a well-priced, comfortable, and enjoyable ride to/from your place of stay in the Puerto Vallarta area! The drivers are both kind and professional, and I won’t hesitate to use them again the next time I’m back.

Most notable, by helping me transport over... read more 50 wedding guests from the PVR airport to a resort in Nayarit. Logistically, this was quite a feet. It involved almost every type of transport vehicle in their fleet including a sedan, Suburban and large transport Mercedes Sprinter van. During the wedding week, Vallarta Transportation provide excellent transport to PV from the Nayarit resort whenever needed. As well, they organized an absolutely incredible boat excursion for the entire wedding party which included on boat meals, stops at private beaches, unexpected whale sightings and ample snorkeling. Throughout the wedding, guests were more than comfortable and felt well taken care of. They pulled off a logistical miracle. The bride and groom remain impressed and look fondly on their event regularly.

I sent two emails, 20 minutes later I hopped into a taxi.... read more Arriving at the airport I received a text from them telling me to take a taxi? Really? And, they would reimburse part of the round-trip fee. I was advised to submit a PayPal request. I did, that evening. It is now 8 days later and no refund. First, don't use this company. Second, do not book round trip. Third, If your are 3-4 pax's, just walk across the elevated walkway and take a local cab. VERY much cheaper. All trips are price by zones, there is no negotiating. It's the best option. Just look up what your zone your hotel is in. Simple.

  We had to cancel our airport pickup with Vallarta Transportation Services/Tomas Diaz due to the coronavirus. I requested a refund on March 16, back to my paypal account, and to... read more date (April 10, 2020) I have still not received my refund. I have had to reach out to him numerous times, and each time it is an excuse. He has further asked for my personal banking information to wire the money to me, and I refuse. I paid via paypal, and the refund needs to go back via paypal. After reaching out to him again today, he told me that the he has no money on his paypal and that what pesos he does have, he needs it for his family. He also proceeded to tell me and send me pictures that he broke his leg and has had no job for the last 3 weeks. I paid upfront as requested and cancellations were to have a 100% refund. I implore you to not use this company, as they cannot be trusted. Strangely enough, I had to cancel our private fishing trip in Puerta Vallarta due to the same thing, and was refunded the same day via paypal. This company is what gives other companies in Mexico a bad name.

  There are no shortage of either taxi cabs, buses and Huber services. Make sure you ask the fare before getting into the cars, are there are no metered taxi's.
